RULES
(Rules can be different depending on where you are playing and who you are playing with. As long as everyone knows the local rules, who cares?)

You all know the main rules after just a few turns, but there are a few others that you might not know about:
  1. 1. If a ball goes out of the court it should not be put back in the court. Set it to one side until the turn is over.
  • 2. If the pallino is knocked out of the court, that turn starts over.
  • 3. If the person throwing the pallino fails to place it in the correct place after 3 tries, the other team throws the pallino.
  • 4. There is a black line half way down the court. Do not go beyond this line to check the position of the balls unless someone from that end of the court invites you to check a close one.
  • 5. There is also a black line about 4 feet out from the end of the court, Do not step over this line when throwing.

  • ETIQUTTE

There are a few things that are not rules but just common sense etiquette. Here are some:
1- After you draw your card, go quickly to your court .
2- While playing, keep track of the game so you can be ready for your turn.
3- Be alert to those playing with you, and offer help when needed by handing them the ball or assisting them in and out of the court.
4- Anyone able should help in gathering the balls at the end of the round, but this can be very hazardous if too many people are involved. One or 2 are sufficient do this. I prefer to do it alone, but if some part of my body is having a tantrum, I sometimes sit on the sidelines and allow others to do the gathering.
